Jenny Pinder
has a special interest in helping people get over their fears, cope
with treatment, and achieve peace of mind about their teeth.
She has successfully treated hundreds of dental
phobics. Her patients have been featured in women's' magazines,
television, and she has given many radio interviews.
She qualified in 1971, and her qualifications include
a degree in Psychology and an advanced diploma in General Dental
Practice.
She is currently studying for a homeopathy diploma
through the London Homeopathic Hospital.
The Psychology degree and the interest in homeopathy
are both invaluable tools in caring for dental patients holistically.
She sat on the General Dental Council for 17 years
until 2001, and was Vice – Dean of the Faculty of General Dental
Practitioners of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1996. She founded
Women in Dentistry.
